I received this MD Paper B5 notebook as a gift for Christmas, and was thrilled to find the cover is just hard stock that is easy to draw on. So I got to customize this sketchbook from even the cover.
Every sketchbook or piece has a goal, and in this series, I wanted to put a visual story together by practicing pen and ink and familiarizing myself with the anatomy of cute forest critters.
May this beautiful wild still be around for future generations.

A rabbit on the run and a young wolf on the hunt.
Two wolves at play.
The rabbits hide in fear.
And yet, to their surprise, the wolf befriends them.
Later, the wolves start a family.
In the woods nearby, a family of deer makes eye contact.
The forest is full of beautiful flowers that all enjoy.
The fawn and the wolf pup share in the beauty of flowers and play together.
A fox watches cautiously onward.
The two wolves see the fox watching.
The wolf is not amused with the fox’s attitude.
But they become friends and run together.
They head to a meadow, where they meet all of their other forest friends.

Love this! Artwork is incredible!!!! I’m my warped mind, there probably would have been a huge buffet for the wolves 🤪
Gorgeous work!
